Food Truck/Food and Catering Service Team Members

We’re adding Team Members-

Seeking initiative-taking, friendly, and courteous team members for a food service company that operates a food truck and catering for public and private events. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the ground floor of a fast-growing new business and local brand as we enter our second season. We are developing a growing and enthusiastic following.

We’re a “from scratch” kitchen. We make all our sauces, beef dishes, house-made bean burgers, and beignets. Smash burgers and tallow fries are our specialty, and the menu is expanding. The beef comes from our farm and surrounding farms that follow our practices. It’s pasture-raised with no added hormones or antibiotics. We use as many local producers as possible, including Companion Bakery, for our buns. There are various shifts available, ranging from prep to cooking, taking orders, and assisting customers. We have purchased the former Kohn’s Deli building in Creve Coeur and are gearing up to open a butcher shop, market, bakery, restaurant, and bar. This will support the food truck with more work opportunities and menu options.

Qualified team members MUST have:

  • Restaurant cook experience and ServSafe certification
  • A driver’s license & a clean driving record, and transportation
  • Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Griddle and fryer cooking experience
  • Process, prep, and manage orders
  • Assist customers with orders.
  • Food preparation for events
  • Menu creation and planning
  • Maintain proper food safety and sanitation on the truck, commissary, and pop-up spaces

Expect a variety of hours for lunch and dinner events every day of the week. We’re booked for St. Louis’ big events, and it’s going to be fun! This is not seasonal work. We have multiple opportunities available, including event spaces, pop-ups, and select larger public venues around town.

The MOObile serves food at public events, private parties, and catered functions. We offer a range of dishes from smash burgers to steaks at catered events. Our freezer is your palette, bring your ideas. The focus and branding is locally sourced pasture-raised beef with no added hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. Our mission is to serve the best locally sourced food and create unique spins of dishes that put a smile on people’s faces. We’re not trying to be the cheapest burger in town; we’re just trying to be the best! Our beef is available at local restaurants, some smaller retail outlets, and directly to consumers. It gets great reviews.

The truck is a ground-up rebuild with all new restaurant equipment and mechanical equipment. The commissary is in Creve Coeur, MO, in our building at 10405 Old Olive Street Road.

The MOObile environment is fun and friendly, and we are only interested in hiring decent human beings who support making and maintaining a positive, supportive work environment. We have zero tolerance for toxic, negative, abrasive people. We are seeking individuals to join our team.
